Children's Author Carol Dabney Reads and Sings at Our House

Thank you to Our House for hosting children’s author and preschool music teacher Carol Dabney for two sessions of reading, puppets, and songs this morning with their kids program.

According to their mission, “Our House empowers homeless and near-homeless families and individuals to succeed in the workforce, in school, and in life through hard work, wise decision-making, and active participation in the community.” We are so thankful for all the work this amazing organization does in central Arkansas.

Carol’s husband, Rod, accompanied her on harmonica and guitar, and even shared a magic trick.

We were happy to send out all 26 participating kiddos with their own copy of Butterfly Dreams: A Friendship Takes Flight, signed by Mrs. Carol.

Carol's original song, "Butterflies and Honeybees," found a superfan, pictured above with Mrs. Carol.

Join author and artist Jennifer O’Brien and publisher Et Alia Press for the launch of THE HOSPICE DOCTOR'S WIDOW: A JOURNAL at Boswell Mourot Fine Art (5815 Kavanaugh Blvd, Little Rock, Arkansas 72207) on Tuesday, February 25, 2020, from 5:30-7:30 pm.
