Please join the “Every Three Weeks” Writing Group for a panel discussion at the Jesup Memorial Library in Bar Harbor on Wednesday, July 15, 2026. The topic is WRITING GROUPS: Why Writers Need One, How to Form Yours, and a Blueprint for Success in this Vital Element of Writing Life.

Our coast-to-coast group of six women has met for three and a half years by Zoom every three weeks to workshop our creative nonfiction, and we’re eager to share the boons and pitfalls of writing groups with you. Our work has appeared in The New York Times, The Sun, Brevity, Guernica, Ms. Magazine, and The Boston Globe, and on NPR and CNN.
