DENNIS VANNATTA is a recipient of The Porter Prize. He has published stories in many magazines and anthologies, including Chariton Review, Boulevard, Antioch Review, and Pushcart XV. He lives in Little Rock, Arkansas, where he is retired from three decades in the English Department at The University of Arkansas at Little Rock. The Only World You Get: Arkansas Stories (2016) is his sixth collection of stories.
